My 30 Second Video

My idea for my 30 second video was something simple and something that I do everyday. Which is, going to class. My plan for this video was to get unique angles which I did.

For my Gif I wanted to do something easy and simple and
I wanted it to be someting that I love, which ended up being summer. My plan was to have bright coloured and pretty pictures behind the text and have it change.

Stop Motion Animation

Me and Julia wanted to make a stop motion video that kind of related to us. So we based the story around something that we enjoy doing together, so we picked baking! Our plan was for the stop motion to represent us which it did, except we didn't meet in no frills. Three things you need to remember when your making a stopmotion video is to keep the camera still. Move your object very slighty or it will be jumpy. Lastly watch for shadows, lighting difference and hands in the way.

Stop Motion Animation Definition: Stop motion animation is a cinematic process, or technique used to makes static objects appear as if they were moving. This technique is commonly used in claymation and puppet-basedanimation.

Some of these are ones I thought were interesting?

The Story

Once upon a time there was a girl named Robin.  Her favourite thing to do is bake.  She loves to bake cookies and cupcakes.  One day she was asked by her mom to bake some chocolate cupcakes for a fund raiser.  She needed to go get some ingredients from the grocery store to make her famous double chocolate cupcakes.

She set out early in the morning on her journey to no frills to get ingredients.  When she walked in the front door, she grabbed a basket off the stack, and headed straight to the baking aisle.  She picked up some cocoa powder, flour, chocolate chips, sugar and icing sugar for the frosting.  She then headed to the back of the store to get butter, milk and eggs.

She proceeded to the checkout and stood in line.  The cashier was very nice, she had asked Robin if she was baking something special.  Robin told the cashier named Julia that she was baking chocolate cupcakes for a fund raiser.  Julia told Robin that she loved to bake cupcakes too.  She asked if she could help her bake them after she was done her shift at 12pm. Robin thought that was a great idea.  Robin packed up her groceries and walked back to her house. She told her mom about Julia. Her mom was very excited to meet Julia. **time change**

After Julia was done her shift, she walked to Robin’s house.  Robin was looking forward to getting to know Julia.  Julia stopped by her house first so she could pick up some of her icing bags, tips, and sprinkles.  When Julia got to Robin’s house, she knocked on the door.  Robin came running to the door! She was so excited to finally start baking.  They walked into the kitchen.  Both walked right over to the sink and washed their hands.  Then Robin grabbed her favourite orange mixing bowl, and yellow measuring cups.  She also picked out her lucky wooden spoon.  They began to mix all the ingredients together.  Robin added the chocolate chips to the batter last. Julia went to the cupboard and picked out some sparkly cupcake wrappers.  The scooped the batter into the pan and stuck them into the oven for twenty minutes.

While they were waiting they went outside onto the porch and sat on the swinging chair together.  They learned a lot about each other, like that they are both 16 years old, and they both love to bake cupcakes.  They were talking for only a short time but already felt like best friends.

They thought it had been a while since they had checked on the cupcakes so they walked into the kitchen to check on them.  They opened the oven and saw burnt cupcakes!  They realized they had forgotten to turn the timer on.  They sadly threw out all the burnt cupcakes, and decided to make another batch.   The next batch turned out perfect.  Next the decided to make icing.  They thought vanilla would work best because the cupcakes were already double chocolate.  They whipped the butter with the mixer until it was light fluffy.  Robin added the icing sugar, and turned the mixer on again.  The icing sugar flew everywhere!  All over both their clothes and across the counter.  Julia thought it would be a good idea to start the mixer on low.  The finished making their icing and added it to an icing bag.  They swirled the icing on top of the cupcakes, and added pretty pink sprinkles. **Time change**

Julia and Robin arrived at the bake sale at their high school with Robin’s mom.  They set the cupcakes out on the table.  They were selling them for 1 dollar.  They sold out very fast because they were delicious.  They raised 50 dollars for the bake sale.  At the end of the day, they went for a walk back to Robin’s house and when they got there they realized they had forgotten 3 cupcakes.  They each tasted one of the amazing cupcakes and lived happily ever after! THE END
